Caroline Flint, UK Minister of State for Europe, speaks with Marek Havrda of Respekt Institut about climate change and the challenges and opportunities it brings for the European Union regarding its competitiveness on the global market and its relationship with other major actors in the international community.

Respekt Institut is preparing a written output from the roundtable after which this interview was made. The roundtable was part of a series organised by Respekt Institut in partnership with the British Embassy in Prague regarding the global dimension of the EU as the Czech Republic assumes the Presidency of the European Council in early 2009.
